Introductions

To kick off the new blog, I'll mention a little about myself. I am an "SRA" Designated certified residential appraiser with over 17 years experience. I also have a Bachelors Degree - Marketing(Major) Business Administration - (Minor) Real Estate Sales License.

I do mostly Architectural, Litigation, Historical, Estates, Trust, Divorce, Retrospective, Tax Appraisals, High-End (multi-million dollar) Homes and more Complex Appraisals in Los Angeles & Ventura Counties.

Being an "SRA Designated" Appraiser means I spent 3 years to go above and beyond normal license level. This involves higher quality education, experience and a 200-page "Thesis" that was far more difficult than what I did in college.

I started with one of the biggest R.E. Appraisal Companies in Los Angeles. I worked for the 3 years (training and learning the appraisal busines). Then, I started my own company: Morris Appraisal, Inc.
